Shoe Palace Exclusive Reebok Shaq Attaq Superman Shoes

Published

on

Shoe collectors unite! I know, you may be thinking that this isn’t technically a collectibles, but shoe collecting has become a major hobby in recent years. I don’t really collect, but these might make me start!

Shoe Palace has teamed up with shoe giant Reebok, to create the Shaq Attaq collection that pays tribute to the big man’s alter-ego – DC Comics icon Superman. The shoes have a  blue and red color scheme, with the Superman “S” logo in place of the traditional Rebook “pump” button on the top of the tongue.

The shoes also feature the title “Man of Steel” on the sides of the shoe, along with a Superman “S” Shield on the back of one shoe, and Shaq’s logo on the back of the other. The shoes are constructed from leather and suede.

Shoe Palace is also selling some other Superman related clothing to go along with this, including some Stance socks, and a couple of tees. The shoes are the most relative collectible though.

About Reebok:

Reebok is an American-inspired global brand with the clear objective to become the best fitness brand in the world. Not an easy mission. However, if there is a brand that can make it happen, it is Reebok, the brand that was fundamentally part of a fitness movement that would forever change the way we look at spandex and headbands. Sure, this is not the 1980s anymore – the world has moved on. But so has Reebok. Reebok believes that fitness should not be a chore, but a way of life. And Reebok’s version of fitness – Tough Fitness – can prepare all who are willing to join in for the unknown obstacles of life. Capable of anything. Ready for everything.

DragonCon: UD Replicas Booth

Published

on

I was pleasantly surprised to see that UD Replicas had a booth at DragonCon 2018. The company is well known for their popular DC Comics themed replica suits. UD Replicas had all of them on display at the convention this year.

It was the first time that I have had an opportunity to check these out up close and they do not disappoint! The shoes come in Batman, Superman, and The Flash favors and are completely custom made from the soles to the design by UD Replicas. The costumes were superbly detailed and screen accurate.

If you are in the market for a screen accurate costume, I can’t recommend this company highly enough! You can check out their products at their official site UDReplicas.com. Or you have another day left to visit them at DragonCon 2018.

Check out a few photos of their booth below!

About UD Replicas:

UD Replicas brings dreams to life with a constantly-expanding line of official movie replica garments inspired by some of the finest filmmakers, video games and musicians in the world, including Warner Bros., Marvel, Disney, Hasbro, Livenation, Microsoft and Lucasfilm.

The dreamer behind UD Replicas and parent company Universal Designs Ltd. is David Pea, a fashion designer and leather craftsman who creates screen-accurate replica garments based on some of the most enduring heroes (and villains!) in popular culture.

“Since these are screen-accurate replicas, officially licensed by their respective studios, our research and development process is uncompromising. Frequently, we work directly from the source material, engineering our UD Replicas garments from the original suits worn on-screen by such actors as Christian Bale, Olivia Wilde, Ben Affleck and others,” says David.

Formed painstakingly from the finest leathers and materials, David’s designs are functional works of art, never to be confused with traditional costumes. With the addition of Kevlar and other CE-approved body armor and protective features, each garment is a fully-functional protective motorcycle suit, bringing a unique style to riders never seen before.
