FTC Bane and Poison Ivy Teaser Image

A terrible twosome is coming to terrorize Figures Toy Company’s World’s Greatest Heroes!  They’ve tangled in the pages of Batman comics, and even teamed up on the big screen.  Now it’s time to make way for FTC’s first ever Bane figure, and not one but two new versions of Poison Ivy!

Having been released before by FTC, the new versions of Poison Ivy will vary from the one currently on store shelves.  A more modern update of the villainous vixen will be released, as well as a figure portraying her civilian identity of Pamela Isley!  As if that’s not enough to keep Batman and friends busy, the big brute known as Bane makes his Figures Toy Company debut in a future lineup!  There’s no doubt that retro collectors will be all over the back breaking behemoth as soon as he’s available to order!

Published

Figures Toy Company Swamp Thing Teaser

Fans waiting for Figures Toy Company’s Swamp Thing line, just got a little more to be excited about. The company provided an update via their Facebook page today.

We brought you Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and all of your favorites from DC Comics. Now, there’s someone (or better yet, some thing) rising from the dark depths here at Figures Toy Company. Get set for our latest retro series, featuring the monstrous Swamp Thing!

A cult favorite character that had numerous comic book series, as well as animated and live action adaptations, Swamp Thing has been high on the list of “wants” for many years, and now FTC confirms that collectors will get their chance to own the humanoid hero! In addition to Swamp Thing, FTC also confirms that Abby Cable (aka Abigail Arcane, who is simultaneously one of Swamp Thing’s best friends and the niece of his arch enemy, not to mention his eventual love interest) will be in the first wave as well!

You won’t have to go trudging through the muck to find these, because they’ll be front and center on http://www.figurestoycompany.com upon their release! The popular creature character is sure to be one of the most in demand offerings on FTC’s release schedule, and more information will follow on Swamp Thing and the supporting cast of characters coming with him.

Figures Toy Company to Produce Wonder Woman TV Series Figures

Published

on

Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman

Kids that grew up in the 70’s are about to get something special from the friendly folks at Figures Toy Company. They just announced plans to produce a wave of Wonder Woman figures based on the classic television show starring Lynda Carter!

News is scarce concerning the line, other than it will definitely be produced. Typically FTC releases four figures in a wave. Of course Wonder Woman will be in the initial wave, but beyond that, your guess is as good as mine. I would like to think it would consist of Wonder Woman, Diana Prince, Steve Trevor, and then the fourth figure would be a toss up.

Keep it here for more information about the line as it breaks!
