Kotobukiya Announces SDCC 2018 Exclusives!

Published

on

It seems a common theme this year for DC Comics SDCC exclusives is the “dark” versions of characters. Icon Heroes is giving us Dark Arrow and Dark Flash, and now Kotobukiya is joining in on the fun with Dark Supergirl. Check out the details below!

Supergirl is making her return after seven years! Dark Supergirl is the manifestation of the dark side of Superman’s Kryptonian cousin that was created when the good and evil aspects of Supergirl’s soul were split.

Dark Supergirl’s appearance is totally altered from head to toe. Her fierce makeup and expression exude a dark, mysterious energy, and her coy expression leaves everyone guessing if she’s a friend or foe.

Dark Supergirl is a San Diego Comic Con exclusive, so make sure you stop by Kotobukiya booth #2601 to get your hands on this wicked beauty!

Pre-orders will open June 22nd (Friday) at 10am PST.

I think some of us were taken by surprise when Mego announced a return to business last week. It seems like things have been in motion for quite some time for the company. If you recall, the brand will be available exclusively at Target soon! Mego showed up for San Diego Comic-Con 2018 with a look at what’s to come from the company.

Mego debuted a new Wonder Woman figure, General Zod figure, and Batman figure. Oddly enough, Harley Quinn wasn’t seen, even though she was shown in the original announcement. Hopefully Mego will showcase more throughout the weekend.

Here is a look at the DC Comics themed items on display at their booth. If you want to check out even more of their pop culture themed offerings, then click the source link at the bottom of this article.
