With San Diego Comic-Con 2018 right around the corner, toy companies are revealing their exclusive merchandise for the convention. Entertainment Earth is letting us exclusively reveal one of their upcoming SDCC exclusive pieces in the form of the Wonder Woman Metallic Wittles Doll. What is a Wittles Doll you might ask?
The new Wittles line is based on traditional Japanese wooden kokeshi dolls. According to VintageNews.com, the traditional kokeshi doll comes from the Tohoku region in Northern Japan. In Japanese lore, the kokeshi dolls were originally created to be guardians for children. It is commonly thought that the kokeshi type doll originated in the early 19th-century. They were supposedly produced by kijishi, woodworkers at the Shinichi Shuraku. Today’s kokeshi have a more rounded shape than their original counterparts, which had more of a cylindrical shape.
This piece will be limited to only 1,504 pieces, will cost $12.00, and will first be sold at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 at the Entertainment Earth Booth #2343. If supplies remain after the show, your order will be filled and shipped to you then, in August 2018. Check out the complete details below.

It seems like things have been in motion for quite some time for the company. If you recall, the brand will be available exclusively at Target soon! Mego showed up for San Diego Comic-Con 2018 with a look at what’s to come from the company.
Mego debuted a new Wonder Woman figure, General Zod figure, and Batman figure. Oddly enough, Harley Quinn wasn’t seen, even though she was shown in the original announcement. Hopefully Mego will showcase more throughout the weekend.
