Thanks to friend of the site Michael Hannon, we now know that Funko is starting to ship their Hero World Series 8 set, which features some of your favorite Bat-themed characters. Michael picked up the new set yesterday at his local Target.

The new 5-pack includes Nightwing, Robin, Bane, Catwoman, and Riddler. If you aren’t familiar with the line, here is a little blurb about them straight from Funko…

HeroWorld 4” vinyl figures will make the perfect addition to your collection. For fans and collectors of all ages, you can find HeroWorld figures as part of both 5-packs and additional 2-pack sets of characters to expand your roster of heroes. Available exclusively at Target and Target.com.

As an aside, the Batman ’66 box is also now out on shelves as well, so keep your eyes peeled for it as well.

  1. Lots of HeroWorld store exclusives arent even making it to store shelves. They are popping up on ebay and other similar sites at superhigh prices. The Target Series 8 collections never made itbto stores or their website. The Batgirl/Green Lantern and Two Face/Scarecrow sets are only to be found on a German website and doesnt ship out of country. Either scalpers working with store empoyees or just plain bad business practices by Funko is to blame.

    • I did see this pack (the one shown above) on a clearance rack at Target in Augusta, GA this past weekend. I don’t know if they aren’t selling well or what, but that is the first I have seen of any HeroWorld product since the initial releases.
