Not only has DC Collectibles unveiled a brand new Batman: Black and White Todd McFarlane statue (based on the cover artwork from Batman #423), but there will also be a life-sized version of this statue available for one special guest at San Diego Comic-Con 2019!

To honor Batman’s induction into the Comic Con Museum Character Hall of Fame on Wednesday July 17th at 5pm at a special ticketed event, Todd McFarlane has turned his figurine design into a life-sized statue over six feet tall, to be debuted and auctioned off at SDCC this week.

When asked about his role in helping celebrate Batman’s anniversary in style, McFarlane replied, “To simply be a part of the 80th anniversary of a character that has always held such a special place in my heart is an honor.” He continued, “But in designing this statue I truly feel like I’m adding to Batman’s legacy and in the process benefitting a hall of fame that will become an institution both for comic fans and the San Diego community.”
