Mattel has surprised me this year. They actually have new DC Multiverse figures on display! The company has a pretty impressive booth this year, with a focus on Batman (since it is his 80th anniversary this year). They have also unveiled several new DC Multiverse figures like the KGBeast, Katana (which we have technically seen in prototype form) and a new Build-a-Figure Killer Croc.
The Killer Croc figure looks to be the King Shark figure with a different paint app and head sculpt. Thanks to a heads up from Joe Acevedo, he points out that Killer Croc has different feet and upper body, from that of the King Shark figure. Only the waist and legs appear to be the same. So it’s NOT a repaint with a new head.
Keep in mind, that typically each day, companies bring out one to two new items for display to keep people coming back to their booths, and there is one figure with a black cloth over him that will be unveiled this weekend. So keep it here for updates as they break.

Mattel, the largest toy company in the world, was founded in 1945. It produces a huge range of dolls, toys, games, and video games for boys and girls of all ages. In addition to the company’s very-well-known lines like Barbie and Hot Wheels, Mattel also provides merchandise under license to some of the world’s most famous properties. Many of the firm’s products have become a part of our culture and one would be hard pressed to find any adult in this country who has not owned, played with, or at least touched one of Mattel’s myriad of toys.
