TODD MCFARLANE TEASES A NEW DC MULTIVERSE WAVE 2 FIGURE

Today’s episode of DC Daily on the DC Universe app, featured an interview with Todd McFarlane talking about his new line of DC Multiverse action figures. It was a great interview with Todd, but the highlight of the interview was a hint at an upcoming figure for wave 2. When asked for a hint by interviewer Hector Navarro, McFarlane responded with two words… “White” “Knight”.

Now there is a lot of room for interpretation there, but he went on to comment that he “liked the look of that character.” One can only assume that he is referring to Batman and the unique look of Batman’s costume in the book by Sean Murphy and Matt Hollingsworth.

Here is a look at the costume from the comic on the cover of Batman: White Knight #1, as well as a statue from DC Collectibles.

Of course, the figure he is referring to might not be Batman, but another character in the mini series, but let’s be honest for a moment. Who thinks that it would be anything other than that Batman? He looks absolutely cool.

The only real question left is, when will this one be available? Hopefully very soon.

In the interview, Todd also indicated that they have two more Batmobiles planned out for their collect and build line, and indicated that the next wave of those three figures would not necessarily be Batman themed. McFarlane also hinted at seeing more “Animated” style characters, in some cases some that we haven’t seen in that style before!
