About Peacemaker Season 2:

Peacemaker Season 2 picks up three years after the explosive events of the first season, with Chris Smith still struggling to reconcile his violent past and his desire to do good. Haunted by guilt over Rick Flag Jr.’s death, Peacemaker becomes the target of Flag’s father, Rick Flag Sr., who arrives with a squad bent on revenge. Alongside his fractured 11th Street Kids team, Peacemaker faces new threats while grappling with his own trauma, strained friendships, and a dangerous new device—the Quantum Unfolding Chamber—that exposes him to a “perfect world” where his life took a different path. Blending dark humor, brutal action, and unexpected emotional depth, Season 2 continues to expand the DCU while pushing Peacemaker into his most personal battle yet.

Peacemaker Season 2 stars John Cena as Christopher Smith, aka Peacemaker, delivering a performance that balances over-the-top comedy with raw vulnerability. He’s joined by Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Vigilante, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, and Steve Agee as John Economos, all reprising their roles as members of the 11th Street Kids. New to the cast is Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., a vengeful antagonist bringing gravitas and danger to the story. The ensemble’s chemistry remains a highlight, with supporting performances from Tim Meadows as Langston Fleury and other new DCU connections adding weight to the larger universe James Gunn is building.
