The McFarlane Toys Show Reveals Upcoming DC Action Figures!

McFarlane Toys held a brand new live show today and the McFarlane Toys show reveals were exceptional! From a new wave of Super Friends to the surprising announcement of a new crowdfund opportunity, DC fans will be eating well over the next few months.

First up was the announcement of two new Page Punchers action figures. First was Superman from the Zero Hour mini-series. This version does come with a cloth cape, and the obligatory mullet from that era. Next was The Joker from Crisis on Infinite Earths mini-series. The jacket is a cloth goods and is removable! Pre-orders for these two figures is September 30th!

Moving on to upcoming Phygital figures the McFarlane Toys Show reveals Red Tornado classic costume figure. He comes with a cloth cape and screams awesomeness! The next figure is Blackfire from the New Teen Titans. This figure features a metallic paint application. The final figure in this wave is Batgirl, in her classic purple suit.

Next is a two-pack featuring a Mega-figure and a regular figure. The two-pack is Atom Smasher and The Spectre. The Atom Smasher appears to be primarily a repaint of the Black Adam movie figure, with some minor adjustments. The Spectre features a soft goods cape and hood, which look pretty good to me.

My favorite of these announcements was the reveal of a third wave of Super Friends figures! Thank you, McFarlane Toy Show reveals! This wave includes Aquaman, Bizarro, Bizarro Batman, Brainiac, and Gleek, Zan, and Jayna! I can only hope this is not the final wave of these figures!

Finally comes the dreaded crowdfund item. I have mixed feelings about the crowdfund stuff, and I just don’t know how much traction this one will have. The McFarlane Toys Show reveals a Suicide Squad Harley Quinn set. This is the David Ayers film, not James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad.

Level 1 features the figure and a few accessories. Level two ramps up the accessories tenfold! Level 3 includes a tuxedo suit version of The Joker. Level 4 includes a version of Harley Quinn in a different color scheme. This is where it sort of loses me.

This launches very soon, with exact dates revealed next week.

With all of these reveals, the hosts say that even more is coming very soon! Which one of these items are you most excited about? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below!
