The 2025 edition of Joelanta proved to be one of the best toy conventions yet for DC fans, and I walked away with an unforgettable haul of McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse figures.
Held at the Gas South Convention Center, Jolanta 2025 featured an expanded layout, offering more vendor space and a vibrant mix of vintage and modern toy sellers. While I originally set out to complete my Super Powers collection, fate (and a $5 bin) had other plans.
One booth in particular became the highlight of the weekend. The unnamed vendor offered a treasure trove of DC Multiverse figures, and a five dollar bin! Among my finds were Tim Drake Robin, Batman/Superman Fusion, Kid Flash, Flash with Cyborg parts, and even King Kordax from Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
The deals didn’t stop there. I also picked up standout figures like Two-Face and Clock King for $10 and $20 respectively, as well as the elusive non-platinum release of a figure many collectors struggle to find, for only $30. To top it off, I scored the Batman: The Animated Series Jokermobile for $10.
Beyond the DC booth, I spent time exploring the show floor and connecting with fellow collectors and indie creators. I even picked up an incredible hand-crafted diorama from a talented Alabama-based builder, bamafrede.
Jolanta’s atmosphere, smaller and more intimate than the massive Toylanta, made it the perfect venue for networking and genuine collector camaraderie. While my search for vintage Super Powers figures came up short, my DC Multiverse haul easily made the trip worthwhile.
If you’re a fan of McFarlane’s DC Multiverse line or simply love finding unbeatable toy deals, Joelanta 2025 should be on your radar.
