Hot Toys Arkham Origins Batman: New 1/6th Scale Figure Revealed

The Dark Knight is being brought to life in stunning detail. Hot Toys has officially revealed their highly anticipated Hot Toys Arkham Origins Batman 1/6th scale collectible figure, based on the fan-favorite 2013 prequel video game.

Set several years before the events of Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham Origins follows a young, raw, and unrefined Bruce Wayne in only his second year as Gotham’s protector. This new figure perfectly captures the bulky, armored aesthetic of the “Year Two” Batsuit as it appeared on that fateful, snowy Christmas Eve.

Unparalleled Realism and Articulation

The Hot Toys Arkham Origins Batman features a newly developed masked head sculpt equipped with Hot Toys’ signature separate rolling eyeball system. This allows collectors to adjust Batman’s gaze for more dynamic and lifelike displays.

To further customize the look, the figure includes two interchangeable lower face sculpts:

  • A classic, brooding expression.
  • A determined, clenched-teeth expression for combat poses.

A “Year Two” Armored Batsuit

The costume is a masterclass in mixed-media tailoring. It features a newly developed grey and black armored Batsuit layered over a muscular undersuit, accurately reflecting the practical yet heavy-duty design seen in the game.

The outfit is completed with:

  • Heavy Gauntlets and Boots: Weathered to show the wear and tear of a bounty on his head.
  • Utility Belt: Detailed with pouches for his vast gadgetry.
  • Wire-Embedded Cape: Perfect for creating wind-swept or gliding poses.

The Shock Gloves and Gadget Arsenal

One of the standout features of this release is the inclusion of the Shock Gloves. The figure comes with specialized armor plates and translucent blue lightning effects to simulate the electrified impact used to take down Gotham’s deadliest assassins like Deathstroke and Bane.

True to the gameplay, the figure includes a massive arsenal of tools:

  • Grapnel Gun & Disruptor
  • Sonic Batarang & Standard Batarang
  • Remote Claw
  • Smoke Pellet & Explosive Gel
  • Seven interchangeable hands for various weapon-holding gestures.

Final Presentation

The figure comes packaged with a specially designed figure stand featuring the game’s logo. This long-awaited release is not just a high-end collectible; it is a definitive tribute to the prequel that defined the Dark Knight’s early career.

You can currently pre-order this one from Sideshow for $300!
