First Look: Mattel DC 2026 Figures Leaked Ahead of Nuremberg Toy Fair

DC fans have been set ablaze by a massive early reveal. Before the doors to the Spielwarenmesse (Nuremberg Toy Fair) have even officially opened, collector and insider @ComicToyHunter has shared a first look at the Mattel DC 2026 figures lineup.

The Instagram post, captioned “Noch nicht mal auf der @spielwarenmesse angekommen, habe ich schon neue Toys von @mattel entdeckt” (Translation: “Haven’t even arrived at the toy fair yet, but I’ve already discovered new toys from Mattel”), provides a tantalizing glimpse into what the toy giant has planned for the DC Multiverse in 2026.

The Return of the King: Mattel’s 2026 DC Vision

While official press releases were not expected until later in the week, the leak confirms that Mattel is doubling down on an evergreen figure line for the 2026 calendar year. The video shared by ComicToyHunter showcase a toyish aesthetic, suggesting a that these are not set to compete with McFarlane’s DC Multiverse line. This does fall in line with things we have heard so far about Mattel and McFarlane’s license timeline.

Key Highlights from the Leak:

  • The Trinity Reimagined: The leaked photos prominently feature a new Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, The Flash, The Joker, Robin, and Deathstroke appearing to have an evergreen type of look to them.
  • Articulation: Close-up shots suggest one joint/swivel elbows, and double jointed knees.

Since Mattel regained the DC action figure license, collectors have been waiting to see how the new figures would look. The 2026 reveal indicates an everygreen type line, right out of the gate. The poster also indicates, we should see these fall of 2026.

When to Expect an Official Announcement

While the ComicToyHunter leak has provided the first visual evidence, we expect Mattel to hold a formal presentation at the Nuremberg Toy Fair within the next 48 hours. This presentation is expected to include:

  1. MSRP Pricing: Expected to remain competitive within the $22.99–$29.99 range.
  2. Wave 1 Release Dates: Current rumors suggest a Q1 2026 retail launch.
  3. Retail Exclusives: Announcements regarding which figures will be “Store Exclusives” for 2026.

Stay tuned to DCCollectors.com as we continue to track the floor at Nuremberg. We will update this story as higher-resolution images and official product descriptions become available.
