Thanks to early photos from @robdtoys, we now have our first look at the latest Batman: The Animated Series Build-A-Figure (BAF) wave from McFarlane Toys, and the centerpiece is none other than the efficiency-obsessed villain, Clock King.

Following the success of previous BAF waves like Lock-Up and Condiment King, this new set continues to dive deep into the fan-favorite Bruce Timm and Paul Dini character designs that defined a generation.

The Character Lineup

To complete the massive Clock King BAF, collectors will need to pick up the four core figures in the wave. Each figure captures the distinct, clean lines of the “The New Batman Adventures” and “Batman: The Animated Series” styles:

  • Batman: A fresh take on the Dark Knight, essential for any evergreen display.
  • Zatanna: The Mistress of Magic makes a rare and welcome appearance in the line, sporting her classic stage-magician tuxedo.
  • Mad Hatter: Jervis Tetch joins the roster with his oversized top hat and mind-control cards.
  • The Joker: A new iteration of the Clown Prince of Crime to keep your Gotham shelf chaotic.

Build-A-Figure: Clock King

The Clock King figure (Temple Fugate) is the star of the show. Based on his appearance in the classic episode “The Clock King,” the figure appears to include his signature cane and spectacles. For those who appreciate the technical side of Gotham’s rogues, Fugate’s rigid design translates perfectly into the 7-inch scale used by McFarlane’s DC Direct team.

Toy Fair 2026 Coverage

This reveal comes at a pivotal time for the DC license. As we’ve reported throughout the week, 2026 is a transition year for DC toys. While Mattel is beginning to ramp up their 6.5-inch “DC Universe” line, McFarlane Toys is clearly not slowing down, doubling down on the collector-focused DC Multiverse and DC Direct brands through the end of the year.
