Mezco One:12 Collective Robin BTAS: Animated Series Sidekick Teased

During the Mezco Toyz Toy Fair 2026 preview, the studio officially unveiled their first look at Robin from Batman: The Animated Series (BTAS). This reveal marks the third figure (not a variant) of their animated DC lineup following the successful launch of Batman and the Joker.

This version of Robin captures the iconic “Boy Wonder” aesthetic established by Bruce Timm, featuring the vibrant red, yellow, and green color palette that defined the 1992 classic series.

Completing the Animated Trio

Mezco’s venture into the world of Batman: The Animated Series has been highly anticipated by collectors who prefer the high-end fabric tailoring of the One:12 Collective over standard plastic figures.

  • The Hero Returns: Robin joins the previously announced Batman: The Animated Series – Batman and Joker figures, both of which are currently scheduled for a February – April 2026 shipping window.
  • Signature Tailoring: True to the One:12 brand, Robin features a custom fabric costume that maintains the clean, “noir-style” lines of the show while allowing for a full range of articulation.
  • Integrated Posing: Like his mentor, Robin is expected to feature a fabric cape with an integrated posing wire for dramatic rooftop displays.

What to Expect: Accessories and Scale

While specific accessory details for the BTAS Robin are still forthcoming, Mezco’s history with the character provides a blueprint for what fans can likely expect. Previous Robin releases in the line have included multiple head portraits, various “Birdarangs,” and specialized gadgets. Given the “animated” focus, collectors are hoping for episode-specific items like his specialized grappling hook or perhaps even a swap-out “Tim Drake” head sculpt. From the image provided, we do know he includes a bo-staff.

The figure will stand in the standard 1:12 scale, specifically designed to look proportionate next to the larger BTAS Batman figure.
