Kaiyodo has officially pulled back the curtain on their next big DC Comics release: the Amazing Yamaguchi Batman Beyond Classic Ver. while the previous Revoltech take on Terry McGinnis leaned heavily into a high-tech, armored aesthetic, this new “Classic Ver.” is a love letter to fans of the original 1999 animated series.

A Return to the Animated Roots
Sculptor Yu Shizheng (under the supervision of Katsuhisa Yamaguchi) has gone back to the drawing board to capture the sleek, “cartoon-style” silhouette that defined the Bruce Timm era. Standing at approximately 6.5 inches tall, the figure swaps out the heavy panel lining of the 2025 release for smooth, muscular contours and the iconic matte black finish that made the suit look like a living shadow in the show.
The red bat emblem on the chest is sharp and vibrant, contrasted against the dark suit and the silver utility belt. For those who grew up watching Terry take over the mantle from an aging Bruce Wayne, this is the definitive look we have been waiting for in the 1:12 scale.
Loaded with Accessories
Revoltech is known for its incredible articulation, and this Batman Beyond is no exception. To complement the range of motion, Kaiyodo is packing in a generous amount of accessories to help you recreate your favorite aerial battles:
- Interchangeable Hands: 8 different options for grappling, punching, and posing.

Fans who missed out on the first tech-heavy version or simply prefer the traditional animated look should keep a close eye on their favorite import retailers. Pre-orders are expected to go live imminently, and given the popularity of the Batman Beyond license, this one likely won’t stay on shelves for long.
