Entertainment Earth and McFarlane Toys have dropped a brand-new teaser image confirming that McFarlane Super Powers Wave 14 is officially coming soon.

According to the official announcement, we will not have to wait very long to add these retro-style beauties to our shelves. The full wave is scheduled to go live for preorder on June 25.

The Return of a Nostalgic Powerhouse

When McFarlane Toys originally revived the classic Kenner Super Powers aesthetic, fans were overjoyed to see the return of the iconic 4.5-inch scale, the 5-to-7 points of articulation, and the beautifully illustrated retro blister card packaging. After a brief period where collectors wondered about the future longevity of the line, Entertainment Earth stepped up in a major partnership with Todd McFarlane to keep the line thriving through exclusive wave distributions.

The freshly dropped teaser image showcases six distinct character silhouettes set against the traditional blue-and-yellow Super Powers branding, flanked by the classic star-studded red ribbon. The graphic boldly proclaims “COMING SOON” at the top, leaving fans to dissect every single pixel of the shadow outlines.

Analyzing the Silhouettes: Who is in Wave 14?

Speculation is already running rampant across social media platforms as fans try to decode the secret roster. Looking closely at the six blacked-out silhouettes, we can start making some highly educated guesses based on character history, proportions, and previous McFarlane DC lines:

  1. Top Left: This silhouette shows a prominent cape flowing down to the ankles with a rounded, smooth head or hood structure. Some speculate this could be a classic comic-accurate version of Raven, unless that is hair, and not a hood. In that case, maybe Miss Martian?
  2. Top Middle: This is unmistakably a Batman-adjacent silhouette, featuring sharp, classic bat-ears and a highly athletic posture. Most likely this is Batman Beyond.
  3. Top Right: The distinct, voluminous flowing hair and athletic frame strongly hint at a classic female hero. This undoubtedly looks like Starfire is set to bolster the Teen Titans shelf.
  4. Bottom Left: This shape features unique pointed ears or cowl accents that look distinct from standard Batman cowls. Early community guesses are leaning heavily toward Wildcat.
  5. Bottom Middle: This massive silhouette features broad shoulders and a heavy cape, strongly evoking the presence of a Kryptonian or a heavy-hitting powerhouse. This looks incredibly reminiscent of a classic Superman variant, Martian Manhunter, or perhaps Icon.
  6. Bottom Right: Standing tall with a standard athletic build and no cape, this figure features a traditional heroic pose. The short hair and clean lines suggest Deathstroke. It could be a surprise though.
