The portal has opened once again. Following the success of Todd McFarlane’s initial foray into re-releasing highly sought-after, premium figures, McFarlane Toys has officially launched McFarlane Vault Wave 2. For DC action figure fans who missed out on these incredibly popular releases the first time around, or those looking to secure upgraded versions with collector-focused packaging, today, June 11th, is your day to strike.

These premium 7-inch scale figures from the DC Multiverse line are going live for general pre-order at select retailers today. Let’s dive deep into the four monumental figures making up this highly anticipated second wave.

Links go live at noon EST. I have provided placeholder links now, to the page on each website I think they will show up. When individual product pages go live, I will update the links to reflect them. Keeping refreshing the page for link updates.

Cyborg Superman™ (The Return of Superman)

Leading the charge for this wave is a figure that has driven toy hunters wild over the past year: Hank Henshaw, the sinister Cyborg Superman. Based on his unforgettable appearance in The Return of Superman storyline, this half-man, half-machine terror is easily one of the most visually striking villains in the entire line.

For fans who were unable to find his initial allocation on store shelves, this Vault release is an absolute lifesaver. This premium edition variant elevates the presentation significantly, offering dynamic display versatility right out of the box.

  • Scale: 7-inch premium articulated figure
  • Accessories: Premium soft goods fabric cape, collectible art card with character biography, and a specialized figure display base.

Batman™ (Knightfall™)

Next out of the vault is a definitive variant of the Dark Knight himself. The Knightfall era is legendary among comic fans, marking the brutal storyline where Bane broke the Bat. This particular figure captures the classic ’90s blue-and-grey aesthetic perfectly, complete with the iconic yellow oval chest emblem.

The original release of this sculpt became an instant classic, making it highly difficult to track down for a reasonable price on the secondary market. Now, it is back in the pristine Vault packaging.

  • Scale: 7-inch premium articulated figure
  • Accessories: Batarang, multiple interchangeable extra hands for tactical posing, character art card, and a figure display base.

The Joker™ / The Comedian™ (Batman: Three Jokers™)

You cannot have a major DC wave without the Clown Prince of Crime. Representing the brilliant and psychological Batman: Three Jokers miniseries, this release highlights “The Comedian” variant of the Joker. This version captures the chilling, calculated essence of the classic criminal mastermind, wearing his grim, sophisticated grin.

Equipped with the tools of his most infamous crimes, this is an essential centerpiece for any Gotham City rogue display shelf.

  • Scale: 7-inch premium articulated figure
  • Accessories: Vintage-style camera, a sinister metal crowbar, character art card, and a figure display base.

Captain Carrot™ (DC Multiverse)

Rounding out this incredible line-up is arguably the most fun and unique figure McFarlane has produced in recent memory: the leader of the Zoo Crew, Captain Carrot! Hailing from Earth-26, this hyper-articulated figure of Rodney Rabbit was a massive runaway success upon its initial release, leaving many collectors empty-handed due to rapid sell-outs.

Featuring an incredible, completely unique cartoon-accurate sculpt, Captain Carrot brings an explosive pop of color and comic book whimsy to an otherwise gritty lineup.

  • Scale: 7-inch premium articulated figure
  • Accessories: 4 interchangeable extra hands (perfect for dynamic flying or punching poses), character art card, and a figure display base.

Collector Note: Unlike standard retail waves, Vault releases act as a direct response to collector demand, bringing back the absolute best of the back-catalog. Pre-orders are opening today, June 11th, across major online toy stockists, including Entertainment Earth, BigBadToyStore, Amazon, and the official McFarlane Toys Store. Do not wait on these, supply is bound to move quickly!
