Titled the “Premier Series Figure Asst Series 4,” this assortment is officially grouped under a new, intriguing subtitle: “Cyber Chaos.” It also looks like we are getting the “DC Premier” logo on the front of the packaging as well.

A Wave of Classics and Enigmas

The Series 4 lineup features four figures, two of which are clearly displayed, and two that are presented as tantalizing “Work-In-Progress (WIP)” silhouettes.

Here is the breakdown of the Mattel DC Premier Series 4 lineup as shown:

1. Batman (Cyber Armor Variant?)

The flagship character of the line returns. This is not the Classic or Specialized variants we saw in Mattel DC Premier Series 3. This Series 4 Batman is shown in a very striking, stylized blue and black tactical suit, heavily highlighted with contrasting yellow or gold accents, a matching utility belt, and gauntlet details. The design suggests a technological or digitized enhancement, perfectly aligning with the “Cyber Chaos” theme.

2. Superman

Superman looks classic and ready for action. He is shown in his iconic red, blue, and yellow suit with the bold ‘S’ shield chest emblem. The blue seems to be metallic in this instance. The presentation image highlights his signature red soft-goods cape, which is dynamic and wind-swept, suggesting high-end fabric integration for poseability. He also comes with a transparent red shield accessory.

3. & 4. The ‘Cyber Chaos’ Mystery Silhouettes (WIP)

The real excitement of this reveal lies in the two remaining figures, which are presented only as dark, silhouetted forms overlaid with a large yellow “WIP” stamp.

• Figure 3: This silhouette features a slender, articulated humanoid form, but what instantly grabs the eye are the massive, bio-mechanical, insectoid-like wings extending from its back. It has multiple articulated appendage points and a unique head sculpt, all heavily suggestive of a technology-infused character or a complete robotic entity. This is actually an easy one, it is Blue Beetle.
• Figure 4: The final figure is even more dramatic. It is an extremely complex, completely non-humanoid form. It features multiple articulated arms that seem to merge into larger, blocky, metallic, or mechanical claw/weapon-like structures. This entity screams “cyber chaos” and looks like something that has stepped out of a dystopian future or a radical technological experiment gone wrong. My guess is Cyborg.

Analyzing the ‘Cyber Chaos’ Clues

Given how Mattel DC Premier Series 3 balanced known core heroes with an established rogue in Deathstroke, Series 4 appears to be diving deeper into specific thematic storytelling.

Mattel’s decision to include a second wave with Batman variants (after featuring two in Series 3) is unusual but strategic, as it allows them to push creative boundaries while anchoring the line with its top-selling hero. However, pairing him with the debuting Superman guarantees massive initial demand, providing cover for the riskier, conceptual figures in the assortment.
