Cinemark is gearing up to celebrate Batman Day 2026 in high gear. The theater giant announced a new LED Batmobile popcorn container that will hit select theaters soon ahead of the annual Caped Crusader celebration.
Inspired by the iconic 1966 classic Batmobile, the collectible bucket serves up snack functionality alongside impressive display features for collector shelf setups.
The new offering features a design directly modeled after the legendary vehicle, complete with signature sleek black bodywork, red pinstriping, twin canopy windshields, and distinctive rear fins.
The top of the vehicle opens into a deep basin designed to hold an extra-large popcorn order. According to promotional materials, the purchase will also include a free same-day refill at participating Cinemark locations.
The standout feature of this release is its working LED light function. Unlike standard plastic movie buckets, this edition projects a bright yellow Bat-Signal onto nearby surfaces from the front of the vehicle.
The light beam projects the classic bat silhouette, making it both a functional concession item and a battery-powered display piece for DC memorabilia setups.
Specialty theater concessions have become major highlights for blockbusters and pop culture events in recent years, but moviegoers and collectibles fans know vehicle-based containers are always among the fastest to sell out.
The combination of functional lighting, free refills, and classic vehicle styling makes this release one of the most ambitious theater exclusives of the year.
Cinemark has confirmed that the collectible will be available at select theater locations while supplies last. An exact shelf release date and price point have not yet been formally revealed, but the drop is timed directly to align with Batman Day festivities happening on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
Given the high demand for light-up collectible buckets, collectors planning to secure one will want to keep a close eye on local Cinemark showtimes and concession stand arrivals as the event approaches.
