This reveal brings one of DC’s bitterest rivalries straight into the DC Multiverse line. Darkseid, ruler of Apokolips, taking on his biological son Orion, defender of New Genesis, is a classic match-up rooted in Jack Kirby’s Fourth World lore.

While McFarlane hasn’t posted complete turnaround shots or accessory lineups just yet, a two-pack format usually delivers big. Collectors can likely anticipate:

• Darkseid: Expect this to be a release of the classic Darkseid Mega figure sans the cape. From the looks of the paint apps, the blue will be a darker tone than the previously release.
