Kaiyodo is gearing up for Wonder Festival Shanghai 2026, and DC figure collectors have plenty of reasons to pay attention. The popular Japanese manufacturer announced a lineup of incoming figures under their Amazing Yamaguchi banner alongside a brand-new release line that targets a radically different era of Dark Knight lore.
Absolute Batman Leads the New FUSE Series
The biggest news from Kaiyodo’s recent announcement is the official product video reveal for Absolute Batman, marking the debut release of their new FUSE Series.
Inspired by Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta’s bold redesign from DC’s Absolute Batman comic line, this figure captures the massive, heavily armoured aesthetic of the new Caped Crusader. Kaiyodo confirmed that attendees at Wonder Festival Shanghai 2026 can see the physical prototype on display at the Kaiyodo booth.
“Starting tomorrow at the Kaiyodo booth at Wonder Festival Shanghai 2026, we will also display the actual item! Stay tuned for more details!” — Kaiyodo
Amazing Yamaguchi Expands: Cyborg Superman & Peacemaker
Alongside the Absolute Batman reveal, Kaiyodo dropped confirmation that two major DC Comics characters are joining the Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi line:
- Cyborg Superman (Hank Henshaw): A character long overdue for the high-articulation Amazing Yamaguchi treatment, expected to feature the aggressive dynamic range and metallic texturing the line is famous for.
- Peacemaker: Fresh off massive pop-culture popularity, Christopher Smith gets his debut in the Revoltech aesthetic, likely packed with modular weaponry and alternative helmet sculpts.
Both prototypes are on physical display at WF Shanghai 2026, meaning detailed floor photos and breakdown specs should surface shortly.
What to Expect Next
Kaiyodo hasn’t set official pre-order windows or retail price points for Absolute Batman, Cyborg Superman, or Peacemaker just yet. However, with physical prototypes live on the show floor, official solicitations usually follow within weeks of major convention reveals.
