Walking the convention floor at New York Comic-Con is always an incredible experience, but heading directly over to the Mezco Toyz booth is a mandatory stop every single year. During my time exploring the show floor, I made a point to get a close look at the Mezco DC One:12 Collective NYCC 2026 display setups. Getting to stand right in front of the glass cases allows you to see the real craftsmanship, soft-goods tailoring, and detailed portrait sculpts in person, giving a whole new level of appreciation for what the brand brings to the 1/12 scale market.
For years, Mezco has established a strong reputation among figure fans by taking iconic comic book characters and outfitting them in premium fabric costumes with intricate articulation. Watching the lights hit the display cases on the con floor revealed just how impressive these figures look outside of promotional photos. Seeing these figures highlighted the precise stitching, scaled texture patterns, and crisp paint applications that keeps this line so highly sought after by collectors.
The Mezco DC One:12 Collective NYCC 2026 presence brings fans together to discuss future lineup possibilities. Whether it is classic comic incarnations of Gotham City’s dark knight or modern takes on the wider DC Universe roster, the sheer presence these figures command inside a display case is tough to match. The engineering required to balance fabric tailoring with full posability at six inches remains one of the defining achievements of this line.
As I spent time photographing the booth and taking in every detail, I could not help but think about which legendary heroes or villains might be added to the lineup next.
