A few days ago I shared official photos of the upcoming FondJoy Superman action figure based on the upcoming film. The primary critique about the figure was the face sculpt. Many fans pointed to McFarlane Toys’ version of the figure to be more accurate.
Thanks to Andrew Angustura from the FondJoy group on Facebook, we have an update for the FondJoy Superman head sculpt. In the image below, you can see the current head sculpt on the right. According to Andrew, the sculpt that will actually come with the figure is on the left. Andrew was given this information from the sculptor that did the work for the figure.
You can currently pre-order this figure from Ali Express for $34.08!

About Superman:
“Superman,” DC Studios’ first feature film to hit the big screen, is set to soar into theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures. In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.
David Corenswet takes on the role of Clark Kent/Superman, portraying a hero navigating the complexities of his dual identity. Rachel Brosnahan stars as Lois Lane, the intrepid Daily Planet journalist and Superman’s love interest. Nicholas Hoult steps into the shoes of the formidable antagonist Lex Luthor. The film also features Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern (Guy Gardner), Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, and Wendell Pierce as Perry White. With a blend of classic characters and new faces, this installment aims to redefine the Superman saga for a new generation.
