McFarlane Toys has announced another wave of Batman pre-orders! This time we get three new McFarlane Batman figures for pre-order July 10th! McFarlane Toys is going no-holds-barred with the DC license now that its time with it is coming to a close.
Up for pre-order on July 10th will be Batman (Troika), Batwing 2.0, and Knightquest Azrael Batman. I am most excited about the Azrael figure as it reminds me so much of the classic Kenner Legend of the Batman figure.
You can check out all the McFarlane Batman figures solicited in their social media posts below! Which ones will you be getting? Leave your thoughts in the comment section.

Batman: Troika is a 1995 storyline that served as a direct follow-up to the dramatic events of “Batman: Prodigal” and “Knightfall.” Taking place after Bruce Wayne’s return to the cape and cowl, this arc shows him reestablishing himself as Gotham’s Dark Knight. First, the story kicks off with Bruce confronting the remnants of the Soviet underworld—three powerful criminals known collectively as The Troika. These villains aim to unleash a dangerous nuclear weapon and reshape the world in their own twisted vision.
Meanwhile, Bruce must adapt to the changes that occurred during his absence, including Dick Grayson’s time as Batman and the evolving roles of his allies. As the narrative progresses, Batman faces a critical challenge: proving to both his enemies and his allies that he’s fully recovered—physically and mentally—from the ordeals that nearly broke him.
Ultimately, “Troika” is less about the villains and more about reaffirmation. Bruce Wayne pushes himself harder than ever to reclaim his identity and mission. With fierce determination and renewed clarity, Batman stops the Troika’s plot, marking a symbolic return to form and setting the tone for his next chapter as Gotham’s protector.
Batman: Knightquest is the second major act in the larger Knightfall saga, picking up right after Bane shatters Bruce Wayne’s back. As a result, Bruce steps down as Batman, choosing Jean-Paul Valley (aka Azrael) as his replacement. At first, Jean-Paul tries to live up to Bruce’s legacy, but it quickly becomes clear that his version of Batman is far more brutal and unstable.
Meanwhile, the storyline splits into two main arcs: The Crusade and The Search. In The Crusade, Jean-Paul takes on Gotham’s criminals with increasing violence, creating new armor and weapons as he spirals further from Bruce’s ideals. At the same time, The Search follows Bruce and Alfred as they travel the globe looking for Dr. Shondra Kinsolving, the only person who might be able to heal Bruce’s injury.
As the story progresses, Jean-Paul’s behavior alarms allies like Robin and Commissioner Gordon, while Bruce’s recovery journey becomes more personal and spiritual. Eventually, the stage is set for Bruce’s return—not just to reclaim the mantle, but to restore Batman’s true meaning.
In the end, Knightquest explores the dangers of unchecked power and what happens when the symbol of Batman falls into the wrong hands, all while continuing Bruce Wayne’s long road back to becoming Gotham’s true Dark Knight.
