DC fans are buzzing, and with good reason. With Mattel set to reclaim full global rights to DC-branded action figures in 2027, next year will be the final year for McFarlane’s collector-focused 7-inch DC line. Now thanks to an Internet sleuth on the McFarlane DC Multiverse Facebook group, we have a rumored list of McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Q2 2026 figures.
What follows is the rumored list of figures slated for Q2, plus analysis of what that could mean for your collection.

Epic Two-Pack / Showdown Set
- DC Multiverse Mongul vs Kryptonian-Suit Superman
Given the list, here are the standouts in my eyes.
- Starman (Jack Knight): A less-commonly produced character in 7-inch form. If this comes to fruition fans of the character will be happy. After all, he led a very successful comic back in the day.
- Red Platinum variants (Black Condor, Gangbuster): An awesome nod to 90’s Superman. A character that I thought had zero chance of seeing the light of day in action figure form.
- Collector Edition Supergirl (First Appearance): With Supergirl coming to theaters next year, the hype is going to be insane for the character. This will pair well with the silver age Superman.
- Mongul vs Kryptonian-Suit Superman two-pack: While I am interested in seeing what they do with the Kryptonian suit, I am hoping for a classic Mongul, and not just a repaint of the figure they released a couple of years ago.
- Vigilante: I can’t wait to see how this one turns out. It will definitely pair well with Jonah Hex.
While this is still rumor territory, the list of figures aligns well with what collectors expect from late‐stage McFarlane DC Multiverse releases: variant characters, premium editions, and a splashy two-pack. Given the licensing timeline and collector sentiment, Q2 2026 could be a pivotal moment for the line.
