“Why so serious?” Gotham’s most chaotic villain is returning to the DC Multiverse lineup in a major way. McFarlane Toys has officially announced that The Joker (Deluxe Theatrical Edition), based on Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight, is scheduled for pre-order on March 5, 2026.
This “Deluxe” designation suggests a significant step up from the previous standard and “Jokerized” releases we’ve seen in the Dark Knight Trilogy waves.

March 5 Pre-Order Details
Mark your calendars for March 5, 2026. This figure will be available at “select retailers,” which historically includes:
- The McFarlane Toys Store (usually with exclusive bundles)
- BigBadToyStore and Entertainment Earth
- Amazon and Target
Given the popularity of the Dark Knight trilogy and the high demand for Heath Ledger’s Joker, this release is expected to sell out quickly during the initial window.
The Joker’s Growing Legacy at McFarlane
This release marks another way Todd McFarlane is keeping the DC license alive and well through 2026. By revisiting high-demand “theatrical” versions of iconic characters, the studio is providing definitive versions for fans who missed out on the initial 2023 trilogy wave.
Stay tuned to DCCollectors.com as we approach the March 5th launch. We’ll provide the direct links as soon as they go live!
